Lineage 2 Essence is a group game, and the fastest way to improve your account is not a guide — it is being in the right channel when someone explains the current patch. Here is where the community actually lives, and how to use it.
The channels worth your time

How to use Discord without losing a week
- Join a server, read the rules channel, and look for a recruitment or beginner channel.
- Post one clear question with your level, class and server. Vague questions get vague answers.
- Find a clan that raids in your timezone — timezone mismatch is the most common reason players quit a clan.
- Mute everything except the two or three channels you actually need.
Clan recruitment on a new server
On a fresh server like Mint, clans recruit early and thresholds are low. This is the best window in the server's life for a new player to end up in a serious clan — later, those clans will only take geared applicants. If you are planning to play at all seriously, apply in the first two weeks.
What to ignore
- Anyone selling currency, accounts or "boosting" — all violations, all bannable.
- Any tool or patch distributed through chat or a video description.
- Tier-list arguments. They are entertainment, not information.
