Who we are
L2 Essence Guide is an independent, fan-run information site about Lineage 2 Essence. This page explains what data we handle and how commercial links on the site work.
Data we collect
- Server logs: our hosting provider records standard technical data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention.
- Analytics: we use aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which guides are useful. We do not build personal profiles.
- Email: if you contact us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to answer it.
We do not sell personal data. We do not collect account credentials for any game. We never ask for your game password.
Cookies
We use only functional cookies required for the site to work and, where enabled, aggregate analytics cookies. Outbound links to third-party sites are governed by those sites' own policies.
Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound links on this site are affiliate or tracking links. If you follow one and register, create a character or make a purchase, we may receive a commission or a referral fee. This never changes the price you pay, and it never influences the content of a guide: rankings, recommendations and verdicts are written independently of commercial relationships.

Lineage 2 and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners. L2 Essence Guide is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NCSoft, Innova or any game publisher. All game names are used descriptively to identify the games we write about.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Email hello@l2essenceguide.com and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.
