Lineage 2 Essence New Server Mint: Complete Starter Guide

Everything you need to start on the new Lineage 2 Essence server Mint — character creation, the 3-star spellbook gift, early leveling, auto-hunt setup and first-week priorities.

Create a character on Mint — start on the new server

New players on the Mint server get a 3-star spellbook gift after character creation. Desktop EU players only; no download needed to create the account.

Create your character Takes about two minutes.

Mint is the newest Lineage 2 Essence server, and for a returning player it is the best possible place to start: nobody has hoarded Adena, no clan dominates the hunting zones, and every account begins at level 1 on the same evening. This guide walks through the first three days — the part that decides whether your account becomes a real character or a dead alt.

1. Create your character and claim the new-player gift

The most common new-player mistake is to spend an hour in the character creation screen before ever logging in. Create the character, enter the world and claim the reward first — on Mint, new characters can pick up a 3-star spellbook gift after character creation. Use it to learn a spell that fits your role; if you are unsure, save it until you have settled on a class, because a wasted spellbook on day one costs you more than it costs anyone else.

2. Let auto-hunt work during your first session

Lineage 2 Essence is built around auto-hunt. Whether you play online or use offline hunting, the character keeps gaining experience while you are away, including the automatic use of experience scrolls and runes. That single mechanic is why Essence is friendlier to players with two hours a day than the older chronicles — your progress is not measured only in logged-in time.

  • Turn auto-hunt on early and check it periodically rather than watching it.
  • Keep consumables stocked so the automation does not fall back on default behaviour.
  • Move to a new hunting zone as soon as kills get slow — density beats safety at low levels.

3. Early leveling priorities

Your first goal is not gear, it is the level bracket where the daily systems open up. Once you have access to daily activities, attendance rewards and the mission board, your account starts generating value whether you log in or not. Push levels first, collect gear on the way.

PriorityWhat to doWhy
1Level to unlock daily systemsDaily content is the only reliable long-term income
2Claim attendance rewards every dayFree resources with zero effort
3Complete the mission boardSayha's Grace and lamp charges accelerate everything
4Upgrade weapon before armorKill speed compounds; survivability does not

4. Join a clan in the first week

Mint is a fresh server, which means clans are recruiting members who are actually levelling, not veterans who already have everything. Being an early member of a growing clan on a new server is worth more than joining a top clan on an old one — sieges and world-boss content reward coordination, and coordination needs people at similar gear levels.

5. What to do in week one

  1. Create the character, claim the spellbook gift, start auto-hunt.
  2. Reach the daily-systems bracket and establish the attendance habit.
  3. Pick a leveling route and stop changing zones out of boredom.
  4. Join a clan that is active in your timezone.
  5. Write down what your class is missing — it becomes your shopping list for week two.

New servers are the best case for casual players and the worst case for procrastinators. Mint will not stay empty, and the players who start this week will be the ones the late arrivals ask for help.
